Where is Vicki Skinner Moving To?

After over 5 years as the mistress of the House of Connections/Self Empowerment (aka the Fountains and the Self Empowerment Lending Library), with the economy as it is and tourism being basically flatlined (throughout MUCH of the world) & acknowledging/coming aware of LOTS of "stuff" in my life, I'm taking a MUCH NEEDED BREAK & Selling it ALL (a 6,000 square foot, 6-bedroom home's worth of "stuff"!!)!!!

It's funny how MANY people's "issues" come up when I share this with them - often around not having a plan/knowing what's next but I am in a state of TRUST & SURRENDER for what my next adventure will show me!!  I am open for ALL New Possibilities!!!  

Though - my human/ego-based self would LOVE for that to be a House Sitting gig in the Escazu area as I LOVE the life I've created here (I NEED a break to recoup all the $$ I've been putting out lately to help everyone)!!  

Even better, do you know anyone that has their house for sale & hasn't been able to sell it but had to leave & wants someone there to keep it spruced up & ready to show at a moments notice, help them sell their stuff &/or help them sell their home??

THOUGH - FIRST I'd REALLY REALLY LOVE to take 2-4 weeks off house sitting starting July 18 in a cooler location with great internet & 3G cell connection & on/near a good bus line so I can just chill, regroup & focus on taking care of ME!!!  

Do you have a Vacation property that needs help promoting it since MOST things (all over the world overall) seem to be quite dead?  Let me stay at your place & you know me, I'm GOOD at getting the word out (for others - I just wasn't doing that for myself!! [LOTS of healing/growth opportunities going on!!!  YEAH!!!])

Know anyone in the Sarasota area? I'd LOVE to do a house sitting NEAR water (I've never lived as far from water as I have these past 6 years & NEED a water fix!!) in October/November - the peak of the Rainy Season in Costa Rica (since I've developed such an allergy to mold here). While there I'd LOVE to do some talks on Moving to Costa Rica as well as Medical/Dental/Holistic Tourism & maybe bring a group of people back to get some dental work?!?!!?

Do YOU know anyone that this could fit the bill - where I'm still able to back (since I'm not much of a Taker)???

We Gringos want to share our Fourth of July festivities with all of our Tico friends and neighbors, while raising money for a local charity which discreetly helps those who need it.

This will be a day for fun, food and games. People are already making plans to attend and be a part of this All-American holiday – the excitement is starting to build!

SILENT AUCTIONS (Prize/Donations Still Needed):

We would appreciate your help. We are planning a Silent Auction which will showcase local merchandise and services – from retail establishments as well as cottage industries. Each item featured in our Silent Auction will give recognition to the company (or person) who donated the item. Donors are asked to provide the value of the item, so we will know what the minimum acceptable bid should be.

What items are we looking for? Household items, artwork of all sorts, handyman services, gardening lessons, Spanish or English lessons, automotive accessories, dance lessons, wine tasting, gourmet dinner for two, sewing lessons, games and much, much more – including whatever your specialty is! Nothing is too large or too small to be considered.

How does this benefit you? Naturally you will receive free advertising, but more importantly you will get that “good feeling” of knowing that you are helping your neighbors in Grecia who need a boost.

With all the projects I've had going on - especially  being focused has been an issue (ahhh - the life of a Gemini!!) so I'm going to focus (FINALLY) on the
Dental and Medical Tourism with an emphasis on
HOLISTIC/Alternative Healing Options!!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE people and doing a guest house so MAYBE I'll manifest a new place with 1-3 extra bedrooms but something EASY (maintaining a 6,000 sq'/6 bedroom home - cleaning and all [over the past 2 years after having a housekeeper that stole a bunch of jewels from me] - has NOT been fun and if you know me, you know how NOT a Domestic Goddess I am!!!).
